Swing into the night with our 100-yard glow golf closest-to-the-pin event on Lakeview Terrace and Player 18 and compete for a Golf Shop credit!
Prior to the competition, we will host a retirement reception from 7:30-8:30pm for Member Services Coordinator Julie Riese. Even if you don't plan to compete in the golf event, please stop by and thank Julie for her nearly 12 years of service.

Members may invite up to three guests to enjoy a two-net best ball shotgun starting at 12pm. The event includes an on-course food & drink station as well as a post-play putting contest on The Dance Floor with heavy appetizers and signature drinks. The day will conclude with a buffet dinner in the Pavilion Tent.

Gross and net divisions for men and women, determined by number of entrants and handicaps. The regular division will play Friday - Sunday 18-holes each day, the senior (60-69) division and NEW in 2023 the legends division (70+) will play Saturday & Sunday 18-holes each day. Tee times will be assigned within your flight.
2-Day Senior/Legends $75++ | 3-Day Regular $90++

MEMBER-STAFF CLASSIC

Every August, our Members celebrate GN's staff with the Member-Staff Classic. Members volunteer to switch roles with the staff, complete in a 9-hole game with staff, and contribute to raffle prizes and college scholarships.
If you’d like to play in the 9-hole event and attend the dinner, please register by clicking the register button.
If you would like to pencil yourself in for bartender, beverage cart attendant, server, or club cleaner, the paper sign-up is located in the Member Tap Room near the Member Desk.

GROUNDS UPDATE
BUNKER MAINTENANCE
|
The Grounds crews will be working on bunker maintenance on all three courses over the next couple weeks. This process will include moving and adding sand to maintain adequate depths.

Ladies National Day was held on Wednesday August 2 with a 1pm shotgun start on the Player Course. More than 20 Members invited their friends to round out the record field of 60 ladies. Warm weather led to some great play and camaraderie as the ladies enjoyed an on-course food station at The Hunt Club and a 9-hole Alternate Shot Putting Contest with signature cocktails and passed appetizers on The Dance Floor. The event concluded in the evening with an awesome dinner buffet and awards ceremony in the Pavilion. All the event prize winners are listed below. A huge thank you goes out to all who participated. The winners received gift cards to the GN Golf Shop.

Week 8 of Men’s and Ladies Weekend Golf is in the books. Members took to the Player Course Saturday August 5 and the men led the way with 4-man teams playing 2 Net Best Balls with 3 Net Best Balls on #9 & #18. The ladies followed and finished up their 2-day Eclectic Tournament with a chance to improve their Round 1 hole by hole net scores for the final net score. The results and credit book postings are listed below.

USER PROTOCOL

All members who use GHIN to enter their scores need to completely log out of the GHIN System on their device and log back into their GHIN account to ensure the proper and current course ratings, slopes, and handicap holes are being used as you enter scores from GN. Some members have inaccurate handicapping information being used as they have been using the “old” outdated information from previous handicapping numbers. Any questions please let the member golf staff know.
A step-by-step tutorial is below from an Apple iPhone and other devices should be very similar.
On your device
- Open the USGA/GHIN App
- Go to bottom of the home screen and select "MORE"
- Go to the bottom of the new screen and select "Log Out" See note below.
Note: Find the "SHOW" button next to the password information. Select "SHOW". Make an accurate note of the password that you are using. You may need this information to log back in.
- Select the "Log Out" of the system selection
- Select the "Log In" selection. If necessary enter your password information and email information. This information may have been retained by the system. This should give you the correct information for our courses.
