The Men’s Yearlong Match Plays, Legends Cup (Individual) and Presidents Cup (Doubles), wrapped up last weekend the 2023 champions were crowned. Contestants in each of the event’s finals had to battle and win four previous matches to reach the final match showdown.
Legends Cup
Howard Schulz got out to an early lead in the final match but then Jeremy Lois turned up his game and reached a 2-up lead through the front 9. Howard then evened the match on #12 and then won 2 more consecutive holes to pull 2 up after 14 holes. Howard then won the 16th hole with a par and closed out the match 3 & 2 to take home the victory. A big congratulations to Howard and also Jeremy for a well-played final match and tournament and also to all the members with placing and credit book winnings listed below.

Presidents Cup
Zach Allegretti & John Sykora got out to an early 4-up lead through the first 9 holes but Kurt Jensen and Bob Fishbune battled back early on the back 9 to narrow the lead to 2 up through 11 holes. After a birdie 3 by Zach on hole 12 the lead was back to 3 up but Kurt and Bob then won holes 13 & 14 to cut the lead to 1 up. Zach and John then rallied to win holes 15 & 16 to close out the Presidents Cup victory 3 & 2. A big congratulations goes to Zach & John for their victory and also to Kurt & Bob for a well-played final match and tournament.
