SADIE HAWKINS TOURNAMENT

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22 | 9:30am

Teams will consist of one man & one woman. The format is a 2-person scramble. Men will play the white tees and women will play the green tees.

 

Tee times or shotgun start on the Trevino Course depending on the number of entries

 

$30 GN Member,  plus cart (if applicable)

 

The fee will go towards a Pizza Party after play and prize fund for participants.

 

Spouses may not team together.

MONSTER PAR 3

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 

Come out for the last scheduled golf event of the season and play 18 holes of 4-person team scramble golf.  Before you hit the course, enjoy a Bloody Mary & Screwdriver Bar.  Costumes are highly encouraged.

 

Modified shotgun start or tee times TBD based on number of entrants. Members can form their own teams of any combination of men or women. Please note: There will be be only one division and one set of tees.

 

$40++ per person, plus cart (if applicable)

All ladies who have requested a locker this year may stop by the Membership Office/Desk to select a locker and be issued a key. Lockers will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

MEMBER CHAMPIONSHIP

 

The final of the Member Championship was delayed due to heavy rain on Sunday, September 17,  so the event was played on an absolutely gorgeous golf day on Saturday, September 23. There were 12 men and 12 women eligible to play in separate divisions after they all qualified for the event through yearlong member golf events. Points were awarded for placing and participation throughout the season and the Stableford place points from Saturday’s final round were added to the starting point total to determine the 2023 Member Champions. Our 2023 Member Champion for the men is Kevin Maher and Mary Sills for the ladies. Thanks to all who played in the yearlong 2023 member golf event series. A big congratulations to the Champions and all placing winners with the results and credit book winnings listed below.

CLOSING SCRAMBLE

 

The Closing Scramble was held on Sunday, September 24 and completed a fabulous golf weather weekend at GN. Shooting the low score of (-15.7) for the Men’s division was the team comprised of James Matthews, Jon Nass, Jim Chapman, & Ben Mogni. Their fine score was good for $75 each in credit book. Taking it low in the Ladies Division was the team made up of Maureen McCabe, Mary Sills, Chery Peacock, & Kelly Sykora. Their winning score of (-9.6) was good for $65 each in credit book. After golf,  all the scramblers enjoyed a scrumptious lunch buffet and honored and applauded our 2023 Member Golf Event Champions at the awards ceremony. Thanks to all who participated in the Men’s and Ladies Closing Scramble. Placing teams scores and credit book winnings are listed below.
