SPRING BREAK CAMP
APRIL 3 - APRIL 5 | 10AM - 2PM
|
A three-day camp introducing kids to basic fundamental skills and basic concepts of golf and the golf swing/putting, while playing games and participating in daily challenges. Putting and chipping contests, driving contests and games involving hand-eye coordination, balance and golf skills will be the main components. Emphasis is on fun with the final day ending with some on course time!
$200 GN Member
Fee includes all instruction, lunch each day, and prizes each day.

DRIVE, CHIP & PUTT EVENT
SUNDAY, MAY 21
|
Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.
Drive, Chip and Putt provides aspiring junior golfers (girls & boys ages 7-15) an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals, which is conducted at Augusta National Golf Club the Sunday before the Masters Tournament and is broadcast live by Golf Channel.
Geneva National will be hosting a Local Qualifier on Sunday, May 21.

SUMMER CAMPS
THREE-DAY SESSIONS | JUNE - AUGUST
|
This three-day golf camp will address fundamentals, etiquette, and more specific skills of golf, with practice drills and strategy development as the kids’ progress over three days. Each day will have specific instruction and goals, ending with on-course team golf, plus challenges. Once the third and final day is completed, students will be given a final report card with drills and techniques to work on. Also, an optional parent meeting will be available upon completion of the clinic to review drills and focus points of your child’s golf game.
- Age Group 6-10 Year Olds
- Three-day sessions from 10:30am - 2:30pm
- Monday, June 12 - Wednesday, June 14
- Monday, June 26 -Wednesday, June 28
- Monday, July 24 - Wednesday, July 26
- Tuesday, August 8 - Thursday, August 10
- Age Group 11-15 Year Olds
- Three-day sessions from 9:30am - 2:30pm
- Monday, June 19 - Wednesday, June 21
- Tuesday, July 11 -Thursday, July 13
- Monday, July 31 - Wednesday, August 2
- Tuesday, August 15 – Thursday, August 17
- Minimum of 4 kids, maximum of 20 per session

Our Wednesday clinics will introduce kids to basic fundamental skills and basic concepts of golf and the golf swing/putting, while playing games and participating in challenges every week. PGA Associate Assistant Golf Professional and Junior Golf Leader, Cody Schrock will be in his second season at Destination Geneva National. He recently graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, with a Business Marketing degree along with accreditation from the PGA Professional Golf Management Program. Cody has a passion for the golf industry, growing the game of golf through juniors and families and is very excited to be leading our junior programming.

KENDRA SWANSON
Assistant Golf Professional

Assistant Golf Professional, Kendra Swanson will be in her second season at Destination Geneva National. She recently graduated from UW-Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf Enterprise Management and Hospitality. She has competed on the Women’s Varsity golf team all four years at Stout and Beaver Dam High School. As a 5-year-old, Kendra fell in love with the game of golf. She first started competing in WI PGA Junior tournaments at the age of 8. She now looks forward to sharing her love of golf with all golf enthusiasts.
